I drink teas and tisanes every day, including a variety of ingredients that help me cover the whole nine yards of benefits to me and my family’s health. Drinking Fennel and Cumin Tea on a rotational basis every month fortifies my immune system naturally.
Benefits of ingredients:
Cumin seeds are rich in iron and dietary fiber and help boost immunity. Fennel seeds are traditionally eaten after a meal in India. Additionally, fennel seeds are consumed to freshen the breath and also aid in digestion after a meal. Gingerol, the main bioactive compound in ginger, is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Due to the powerful medicinal properties of gingerol, adding ginger can help lower blood sugars, aid in weight loss, and treat nausea and chronic indigestion. Adding them to a tisane helps cleanse and detoxify the body naturally.
Fennel seeds are packed with vitamin C. As surprising as it is, these seeds are an excellent source of antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory oils. In fact, consuming fennel alleviates cold or flu-like symptoms. Indian food calls for cumin and fennel seeds in our everyday cooking.
